That's definitely a cute farm worth visiting for a while. They have animals like rabbits, chickens, cows, etc. Also, it's easy to park. (Free parking)
How do you beat a free family adventure. Plan to stay 30 minutes and make sure to bring some lettuce for the animals!
This is a great place to bring kids or animal lovers. We came on a weekday, and there was hardly anyone there. Weekends are probably crowded. There was a ram with a large curved horn--amazing. It was fun to pet a very soft rabbit!!!
Next time my grandkids come up to visit--I want to bring them here!
We took our kids here for the first time last week. They loved feeding and petting the animals. We brought lettuce and celery, as these are the only items you are supposed to feed the animals, and they sure do love it when you do. The little farm has cows, sheep, goats, and assorted birds. Hand washing stations and bathrooms are available to help clean up after interacting with the animals. The farm seems like it would be best for kids age 2-10yrs. A good family outing option away from the city.
We love this area. Quiet and peaceful. Nice place to have fun with the kids, feed the animals, walking along the trail and breath eucalyptus air. Highly recommend for visiting. Don’t forget to bring a bunch of celery or lettuce😉 …
A cute small farm where children can feed celery and lettuce to all the animals. A museum, convenient parking and a small playground are nearby.
Little farm at Berkeley hill! Awesome place to bring your little ones to feel the great bonding of domestic animals.. you can grab celery and lettuces to feed them for their snacks! Seems good to go little early when the animals are hungry and has good appetite.. great parking for visitors along nice spooky trails too. Get bottle of water and some snacks bars for yourself.. and enjoy the experiences!
NO PETS ALLOWED. NO ENTRY FEE.
I love to see all the great reviews of the Little Farm.. I volunteer there.
A few tips: bring your own lettuce and celery if you want to feed the animals. The park does not provide it.
No other vegetables are allowed.
The bunnies are the only animals you can’t feed. They have special food and very delicate stomachs.
NO DOGs allowed at the Little Farm, except for actual service dogs. Today in the space of a half hour five groups of folks walked by the many “No Dogs” signs with their dogs. All were told to get the dogs off the Farm, and of course it’s WAY too hot to leave a dog in the car.
Dogs are allowed in the parking lot and picnic areas.
Enjoy the Farm… don’t miss Gordon Ramsey, the lone ram… and Sarah the Turtle who lives inside the visitor center. There are programs and activities and kids love to watch the snake getting fed!
